The Curriculum
Pearson Edexcel is the UK's largest awarding body and one of the most widely recognised international examination boards. Edexcel IGCSE and A Level qualifications are offered at hundreds of international schools across the UAE, Middle East, India and Southeast Asia. Edexcel assessments use a modular or linear structure depending on subject, with clear marking guidance.

Academic Progression
Edexcel offers a coherent GCSE/IGCSE to A Level pathway, widely followed at British-curriculum international schools.
Edexcel IGCSE mirrors Cambridge IGCSE in level but uses Edexcel's own specification and mark scheme. Graded 9–1 (GCSE) or A*–G (IGCSE). Examination sessions in May–June and January for some subjects.
First year of post-16 study on the Edexcel specification. Some subjects have standalone AS qualifications; others are co-taught with A2.
Full A Level assessed by external examinations. Linear structure for most subjects since 2017 reform — all exams taken at end of Year 13.
